Filing a takedown notice
Send the designated agent a written notice that includes: your signature (physical or electronic); the copyrighted work you believe was infringed; the page address where the material appears; your name, address, phone and email; a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised by the owner, its agent or the law; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send the designated agent a counter-notice with: your signature; the material removed and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district. We may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notice unless the person who complained tells us they have gone to court.
Repeat infringers
We will close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe.
