100 Stories

Know someone whose story belongs here?

Some extraordinary storytellers will find 100 Stories. Others will be introduced to us by someone who already knows the power of their work.

100 Stories welcomes nominations from bureaus, agents, publishers, arts and cultural organizations, creative communities, curators, colleagues, friends, and anyone who knows someone whose story deserves to be experienced.

A nomination is an introduction, not a guarantee of selection. If there appears to be a strong fit, we may invite the storyteller into the application or curation process.

Nominate someone

We are looking for people with stories of transformation — stories about something inherited, believed, questioned, released, reclaimed, reinterpreted, or learned to live differently.

They do not need to be professional speakers.

They may be: writers, filmmakers, musicians, artists, performers, photographers, founders, leaders, activists, teachers, community members, public figures, or people whose extraordinary story has never had a public stage.

100 Stories is interested in the story first.

Stories can be experienced through:

Talks · film · music · movement · image · performance · writing · multimedia,and other creative forms

If you know the form that best fits the nominee, tell us.

If you don't, that's okay.
