Draft — pending legal review before launch.
These terms apply to every application to 100 Stories.
You keep ownership
Your story and your work belong to you. Applying doesn't transfer ownership of anything.
What you allow us to do
By applying, you give 100 Stories a non-exclusive licence to use what you submit to review your application. If you're selected, that licence extends to documenting, publishing, excerpting, promoting and archiving your contribution, in any format, with credit to you. Non-exclusive means you're free to use your work anywhere else.
The review is confidential
Applications are read only by the curators for your place and form, that place's Producer, and 100 Stories administrators. Curators' notes are private and are not shared with you or with other applicants.
What you confirm
By submitting, you confirm the story is your own, lived experience, and that you have the rights to every work sample, image, piece of music and recording you include — or permission from whoever does.
After selection
Selected storytellers sign a full participation agreement covering the live experience, recording, credit and any honorarium before taking part. If anything in that agreement differs from these terms, the agreement applies.
